Topic: What makes a successful application to the Scottish Government small grants?
Date: Wednesday 2 October
Who is it for: This webinar will be useful for anyone involved in putting together a grant application for the 2020 Scottish Government international development small grants fund.
More about the Small Grants Programme:
The Scottish Government International Development Small Grants Programme aims to support smaller organisations, with a specific focus this year on feasiblity studies and capacity building initiatives. Scotland-based organisations are eligible to apply if they have an annual expenditure of under £250,000. Grants of up to £15,000 are available for one-year projects.
Our Chief Executive, Jane Salmonson describes the fund as “...an incredibly valuable contribution to Scotland’s international achievements. I recommend all small organisations take a look at the help they could get from a grant, especially if they want to improve their partnership working. This is a rare chance to get help to improve results by improving policies and procedures in vital areas such as safeguarding and risk management.”
The deadline for applications is Friday 8 November!
Members’ application success rate:
Over 75% of Alliance members who received application support for the Scottish Government small grants funding last year were successful in their grant applications.
To join us for the discussion, reserve your space by registering for the webinar and following the link below. The webinar is available to organisational and individual members of the Alliance, as well as non-members who are thinking about putting together an application for the funding window.
