The Funding Working Group will meet for the first time in 2019 in Edinburgh on 23 July.

Who is it for: The Funding Working Group provides a space for international development practitioners to share their experiences of fundraising through a variety of means and explore some solutions to working in today’s challenging funding environment.
The group shares members’ experiences of working with key funders and raising funds through a variety of means, for example, through Trusts and Foundations, membership, high net worth individuals, corporate partnerships, crowdfunding and community initiatives.
The meeting will include:
- A peer learning session exploring members’ recent fundraising successes and challenges, as well as discussion of recent funding reports such as the 2019 CAF Scotland Giving Report
- A presentation from Pam Judson, Fundraising Consultant and Trainer who will talk about seeking funds from Trusts and Foundations in the USA
- Collaboratively setting the agenda for the upcoming annual programme of meetings and refreshing the terms of reference for the group
